About

Me

Sea, wind, trees, history and art formed who I am. I am Lina Mumgaudyte born and raised next to the Baltic sea in Klaipeda city, Lithuania.

From my background I am Illustrator but after 8 years of living and working in Bruxelles I dared to risk, come back to Lithuania and start a project "Bright women in the dark period". The project combines my passion for Art and my old love History.

This project let dicover myself from different angles such as: project managing, projects' writing, funding, research in achives, meetings with survivors of WWII, diplomacy and art itself.

It's a journey where I am leading my  WWII Jewish ladies from the shadow to the light.
